For more than 25 years, employees of AppliChrom GmbH have been developing devices and methods for quality determination of aqueous polymers used in upstream, downstream, and environmental/clarification processes in mining. This includes unique and reliable methods for chromatographic molecular weight distribution (GPC, SEC) of the polycations used here (paper/pigment binders, pool cleaning, clarification plant flocculants, clarification of drilling mud waters, sealing of unwanted gas escape from natural gas deposits after their development). Viscosity-adjusting polymers that can be used in hydrofracking can also be investigated with these methods. In this area, we offer the world's largest spectrum of suitable methods.
