As a bridge between science and industry, over 70 researchers from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg are developing innovative solutions and technologies for climate-neutral energy supply in the new "Energy Innovation Center" (EIZ) in collaboration with an interdisciplinary network of partners – in Lusatia and worldwide.
The EIZ consists of six interconnected laboratories (Labs) with their own thematic focuses: Control Systems and Cyber Security, Energy Economics, Energy Storage and Conversion, High Power Grid Converter, Electric Power Systems, and Scientific Computing. With 14 professorships at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and over 40 additional partners from industry and academia, the EIZ is optimally positioned for interdisciplinary research.
