The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Cottbus represents the overall interests of over 34,000 member companies from South Brandenburg towards politics and administration. It is actively involved in the topic of structural change in the region and acts as a mediator between companies, universities, municipalities, districts, and the state of Brandenburg. The IHK Cottbus, represented by Ms. Silke Schwabe, is one of the founders of the network MinGenTec.
