Brandenburg Founders' Prize 2024 has begun

The application phase for the Brandenburg Founders' Prize, which will be awarded for the first time in 2024 by the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Energy, has begun. The new award is part of the Brandenburg startup initiative.
The Brandenburg Founders' Prize will be awarded in four categories.

Public Prize
Female Founders
Business Succession
Startups with Migration Background

The prize money amounts to 4,000 euros per category. The winners will be determined by a jury of distinguished experts from the Brandenburg economy, chaired by State Secretary for Economics Hendrik Fischer.

Application deadline is April 30, 2024

The award ceremony, accompanied by a diverse supporting program, will take place on July 4, 2024, at the Schinkelhalle in Potsdam and will be moderated by Sarah Oswald. The musical accompaniment will be provided by the Association of Music and Art Schools Brandenburg with performances by young talents.

MinGenTec at AERO Friedrichshafen presented

The AERO Friedrichshafen 2025, from April 9 to 11, attracted over 31,500 visitors from 81 countries.With 700 exhibitors from around the world, it is the largest aviation trade fair in Europe. MinGenTec - Mining & Generation Technology - made its debut with its own booth at the Berlin Brandenburg stand organized by the IHK Cottbus.

Happy winners in the competition "Lausitz Goes International" announced

The three winners of the competition "Lausitz Goes International," which was announced by the MinGenTec network ("Mining and Generation Technology") in the autumn, have been determined: the companies Drohnen Expertise Solutions GmbH from Finsterwalde (1st place), pyropower GmbH from Cottbus (2nd place), and CESS Clean Energy System Solutions GmbH from Berlin (3rd place) impressed the five-member jury with their concepts for tapping into foreign markets and will receive prize money totaling 30,000 euros. The awarded companies focused on markets such as Poland, Great Britain, France, the USA, and the United Arab Emirates.
